Paradigm's Community Fund

With over 10,000 homes across the south east, Paradigm Moneybox
is continually encouraging its many residents to make their own communities even better places to live. To acheive this requires a joint approach - with input from residents AND the community engagement teams at Paradigm. By empowering residents to help shape the way they live, there is every chance that the ideas and initiatives drempt up will work. From community youth groups to litter picking days, involving residents gives them ownership of their actions, and pride in where they live.

To support Group-wide community initiatives, Paradigm has a 'Community Fund' which is open to each and every community to access. The fund is topped up yearly by Paradigm - from both the Group and through fund-raising programmes run by its staff. From this, we ask that residents and residents groups apply for a grant towards their own local initiative. Where applicants can demonstrate that their request will genuinely enhance the lives of residents - for example, towards new play equipment, or a perhaps a new meeting programme for young mums, Paradigm will be happy to support and issue part of the fund accordingly.

Birchway's new community can access this fund. We are encouraging residents to form their own community group - a voice piece to talk about challenges and opportunities as the community evolves. With this, we hope that ideas will spill out and funding will be made available.

We'll keep visitors to the website updated on ideas to make Birchway a thriving community.
