Sunrise Hotels Ltd is the London-based development company and contractor employed by Paradigm Housing Association to build the scheme at Birchway.

The Director, John Dhanoa, describes his company below:

"Sunrise Hotels Ltd was established in October 2000 and has since built a number of high quality residential developments for various Housing Associations. As a company we are committed to building eco energy efficient, ‘green’ schemes and in the future we hope to be at the forefront of carbon neutral building. Delivering a more sustainable built environment has become an aspiration, as a whole it is one that fits with our skill set and experience, and is reflected in the way that we do things. Sustainability begins within our business and our vision of what type of organisation we wish to be.

On all our projects, we are working hard to be good neighbours. Our new sites and developments are now registered with the Considerate Constructors scheme and are monitored by experienced industry professionals to assess their performance. Waste management initiatives designed for the needs of each market and mindful of the impact on landfill sites are in place; energy conservation initiatives and the use of environmentally sustainable materials are pursued wherever practicable.

We hope to enhance green expertise throughout our operations and to be an industry leader in 'green' building and sustainability."
