The vision

As strategic housing partners of the London Borough of Hillingdon, Paradigm Housing Group is committed to delivering on Hillingdon’s housing requirement to provide sustainable homes backed by excellent housing management.

However, Birchway goes several stages further… A new community that’s designed to integrate seamlessly into its surrounds, is highly sustainable, and encourages its residents to lead environment friendly lifestyles resulting in a near ‘zero carbon’ footprint.

Birchway is Hillingdon’s first eco-community built to one of the highest levels of sustainable development – designed to meet Level 5 of The Code for Sustainable Homes.

The end result - 24 self-contained apartments consisting of one and two bedroom homes. The homes are in five blocks over two storeys and feature many eco features, probably the most striking of which are the sedum (grass) roofs. To explore the new homes in more detail, click here.
